iTunes Radio Updated With NPR

iTunes Radio

Apple has added National Public Radio to iTunes Radio today, making available NPR programming 24 hours a day through a free stream (via Re/Code). The new service is available as a free stream and should be updated soon with local stations offering their own channels as well, but represents the first full news service on iTunes Radio. An NPR app for iOS devices has been available for some time but this is the first time that NPR has appeared on iTunes Radio.

iTunes Radio is Apple’s free streaming personalized radio service and is currently only available in the USA and Australia, although it is expected to roll out to further countries this year.
