Apple has released an update to iTunes which apparently allows users to see a Wish List while in the iTunes library itself. According to the release notes, the new version of iTunes, version 11.1.4, also adds language support for Arabic and Hebrew and contains a number of performance and stability improvements as well. The update was released today through the Mac App Store and weighs in at just under 130MB.
The update has been the subject of some discussion among iTunes users. To access wishlists in iTunes 11.1.4, you have to click a small grey button with three stripes at the top right of the iTunes Store tab. However, when the users switches to Library view, the striped grey button disappears. Since the button itself was also present in iTunes 11.1.3 and has apparently not changed in the latest update, the ‘Wishlist in the Library’ button appears to only be something you can wish for in a future update.
Perhaps the release notes on the update were obtained from sources in the ‘Apple Supply Chain’.
