Apple Releases iOS 6.1.3 Beta 2 To Developers

iOS 6

Apple has today seeded a second beta of the next update to iOS 6 to registered members of the Apple iOS Developer Program for testing (via 9to5Mac). The update is in the form of iOS 6.1.3 and comes just days after the public release of iOS 6.1.2, an update which fixed an bug whereby iOS 6 devices created excessive transaction logs with Exchange servers.

The new release apparently includes a fix for the passcode screen bug that was reported several days ago as well as improvements to several core iOS services such as Maps. There is no word on when the final public release of iOS 6.1.3 will take place but it will likely be in the coming weeks as Apple seeks to rapidly address the passcode bug.
