Apple has released yet another beta of the next update to the Mac operating system in the form of OS X 10.8.3. The beta version of the update has been, as before, seeded only to registered members of the Apple Developer program and has appeared a little over a week after the previous build. There’s little detail on the changes involved but Apple has been seeding beta versions of the update since November last year so it is likely to be nearing final release.
The previous update to Mountain Lion, version 10.8.2, was released in October of last year. With rumors suggesting a release of iOS 6.1 fairly soonish, we may see the 10.8.3 update on the same day.
