The popular UI driven list manager, Clear, released on iOS devices in February will apparently be arriving on the Mac next week, when it is released on to the Mac App Store on November 8. According to the developers of the Clear app, RealMac Software, the new app will be priced at $14.99 and will feature a completely new and “revolutionary gestural interface built for your trackpad”.
The Clear task manager for Mac will also feature syncing with iCloud functionality built in, meaning that you can manage your lists on both iOS and OS X. Notably the app will only function on OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion and will not be compatible with 10.7 Lion or previous versions. The Clear app for iOS devices will also be receiving a significant update on the same day.
While Clear has been incredibly popular on iOS devices, I found myself drifting away from it after a few weeks of use in favor of other list managers like Wunderlist which, quite frankly, doesn’t require so much effort from your fingers.
That said, if you love apps with a unique user interface that is predominantly gesture driven, you’ll likely love Clear for Mac.
Funnily enough, sometimes I drift back to it.
