A few nifty new images of what is purported to be the new 13 inch Retina Display MacBook Pro have appeared on a Chinese Forum Site. The images were found on WeiPhone (via MacRumors) and appears to show the port configuration of the new device as well as some as the internals. Screenshots of the new display are also shown, with one demonstrating that the MacBook will have a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.
The pictures of the device are pretty small, but the author of the post actually does go some lengths to demonstrate the thin form factor of the 13 inch Retina MacBook Pro to the 13 inch MacBook Air with some comparative pictures. In addition, there are a few photos of the internals of the device showing the battery and the processor unit.
The 13 Inch Retina Display MacBook Pro is expected to be announced alongside the iPad mini (or iPad Air as it may be called) at an Apple media event on Tuesday, October 23. No pricing has yet been revealed for the device, but recent rumors have pegged the base model at $1599-$1699.
