A new report is suggesting that the iPhone 5 will be made available for pre-order on the same day that Apple is expected to hold a major press conference to launch the device. That is according to iMore, the site that originally broke the news that Apple would be holding an event on September 12. According to their sources, the event, which has not yet been acknowledged or announced by Apple, will precede iPhone being made available for pre-order on the same day.
The report then goes on to say that September 21 will be the day that the next generation iPhone 5 will be made available to the public in Apple retail store and that a second launch wave will then take place in the first week of October (likely October 5) when multiple international markets will begin getting the device.
The site had previously suggested that the launch event would take place on September 12 and this latest report clarifies the pre-order dates for the highly anticipated device.
