Following on from the highly successful release of the 15 inch Retina Display enabled new MacBook Pro, a new rumor is suggesting that Apple will be soon releasing a 13 inch Retina Display MacBook Pro. According to Digitimes, Apple is about to start mass production on a brand new 13 inch MacBook Pro and the killer new feature will be….you guessed it, Retina Display.
The report is suggesting that Apple will begin production of the new MacBook Pro in the third quarter of this year, and that the new model could launch before October. Suppliers of components for the new MacBook Pro have apparently been instructed to start supplying components and the company reportedly wants the new 13 inch model launched before students return to school.
The 15 inch version of the new MacBook Pro that launched last month at WWDC offered an eye blistering Retina Display as well as a revised, and substantially thinner form factor. In addition, the new model also removed the optical drive, and offered substantial processing improvements with the inclusion of the latest Intel Ivy Bridge processors. It would be safe enough to assume the same for the new model.
