Remember when Moriarty got all scary in the season 1 finale of BBC’s Sherlock series with the “I will BURN you” speech? Well, he might as well do it with an iPhone as a video has just appeared on the web which is alleged to show an iPhone 4S spontaneously combusting in some kid’s pocket. According to a Finnish news site Kauppalehti (via CNET), a video shows 17 year old Henri Helminen yanking a violently smoking device out of his pocket, and the device is purportedly an iPhone.
Of course, the device might not be an iPhone. In fact, it might not even be a phone given the quality of the images. All that can be seen is a small black smoking charred piece of shit. The video is worth a look though, if only for it being an amusing incident.
