Apple has issued an announcement today via press release which reveals that the iPhone 4S will be made available in China and 21 other countries from Friday, January 13th 2012. The release of the 4S in these markets takes the number of areas in which the device is available to over 90 countries which makes, in the words of Apple CEO Tim Cook, the ‘fastest iPhone rollout ever”
As noted in the press release, the 22 countries in which the 4S will launch from January 13th include Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bolivia, Botswana, British Virgin Islands, Cameroon, Cayman Islands, Central African Republic, China, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Grenada, Guam, Guinea Conakry, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Niger, Senegal, St. Vincent and The Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos and Uganda.
