Apple has today opened up sales of the iPhone 4S in an additional 22 countries as part of it’s worldwide rollout of the new device which is in high demand. After beginning pre-orders one week ago on the 21st October, the company has now made the device available in retail stores with customers in Singapore being among the first to be afforded the opportunity to purchase one.
The new device will be made available today in Austria, Belgium, The Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, The Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. This follows on from the initial launch cohort of Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the UK and the USA which took place on the 14th October.
Notably, the iPhone 4S is showing as unavailable for shipping through the Apple Online Store in Singapore, whereas other stores in countries such as Ireland, Denmark and Spain are already showing 1-2 weeks shipping time.
